It's a busy life being a ghost investigator! Although I like to work with my own team, I also work with other groups that I feel an affinity with. At the moment I am working with
Ghost Tours UK, a great group of people that offer both entertaining and
honest investigations.
I have just come back from a great investigation at Nottingham Castle, a place steeped in history. It has the dubious distinction of being the place that Charles I raised his standard - which was, in some ways, the start of the English Civil War.
A great time was had by all (as usual), although spirit activity was not as high as we'd hoped, there were certainly moments when the hair on the back of your neck stood on end!
If you'd like to find out more about investigations with Ghost Tours UK, I'd thoroughly recommend them. Click the link above or go to my links page.
field in Bings Heath near Shawbury,on the 11 of november 2years ago i was sorting my horses out at about 17.15 and i saw a ghost of one of the old soldiers its the first experience i have had with a ghost i wish i had more courage
to of stayed there to see what he would of done.i must admitt i have never ran so fast in wellies in all my life it frightend me to death,i cried on my way home,my brain tried to block out what i saw but i knew that i had seen a ghost. This year on the same date
i have got a few people camping out with cameras, your very welcome if you want to join us.
I only stayed with the ghost for a brief amount of time just to make sure of what i saw.at first i thought it was someone walking down the lane with a torch so i didnt take much notice and i carried on fixing the electic tape that my youngster had ran through,i could still see the light out of the corner of my eye and i realised that it was not moving
so i looked back and the mass of silvery light had got bigger
thats odd i thought to myself and carried on fixing the fence
as it was starting to get quite
dark i wanted to get done,i looked back again and there he was by the hedge about 100yrds to the right of me! shocked i starred at him not believing what i was seeing as i was looking at him he started to come closer lifting his arms up
i could clearly see a cross mark on his chest and it looked as if he had a chain mail type suit on.i was not going to hang around to see what he was going to do i ran like hell to my car
and started to drive home.my brain was mashed i was obviously in some sort of disbelief or shock.trying to rack my brain for a logical explanation but could not find one,i burst into tears shaking like a leaf i made it home,my other half shouted down to me as i came in the door but i could not speek.white as a sheet i sat down on the sofa and put my head in my hands.Richard came downstairs and was shocked to see the state i was in.he asked "whatever is the matter ?"
i blurted out "i have just seen a ghost!" he said "yeah yeah i bet" and he didnt believe me until we looked up on the internet and i pointed out what i had seen.He made me go back up the field after a lot of fuss because i had not done the horses water buckets, and the ghost was where the tap was so i was not keen about the idea of going back out there.Anyway there was nothing to be seen when we went back out there.
A few days later where i had seen the ghost in the hawthorn hedge there were about 30 crab apples forced on the thorns in the middle of the hedge no one could have put them there their hands would have been cut to ribbons.
