Fake photos of ghosts and spirits have been
around for almost as long as photography itself. You can see a lady
sitting in the back of a car being hailed as proof of the after live,
she had died before the photo was taken. This is a well known photo
taken in 1959, but if you look closely you see the lady in the back,
but where’s the rear passenger window gone? Also why does the light
reflection in her glasses seem to be coming from a deferent angle to
the light shining on the man in the front? And she appears not to be
sitting back in the seat, but sitting forward. Amateur photographers
through out the ages have been trying to falsify photos and still are.
Another famous one is the lady sitting on a tomb, held as proof yet
again; one thing that puzzles me is why would there be a shadow?
Ghosts are not solid so why the shadow? And why was it taken with an
infrared camera in bright sun light? Experts have put their name and
reputations at risk by saying these photos are real, well who am I to
contradict them, but I have my own opinion and I will leave you to
make your own minds up whether they are real or not. There are many
more photos we have added and will continue to add on these pages, and
where we can we will give you some back ground information, but the
decision on there authenticity will be for you to decide.
Students
and photographers around the world are trying to get photographic
companies to validate their work as genuine, and then exposing them as
fools. We will never stop this practice, we just have to be more
careful what we believe is genuine and what’s not.
We often
receive pictures of orbs, and unfortunately we can’t verify them, with
the introduction of digital photography it’s become almost impossible
to tell what’s genuine from those that are dust particles, or pollen,
or insects and even reflections, outside shots can also be water
particles in the atmosphere. Some say if there is a face in it when
you blow them up it’s a genuine spirit, well who am I to say that’s
right or not, but in my opinion why should there be a face in the orb?
There is no doubt that some are unusual and possibly spirits. However
isn’t it strange before the digital age it was unusual to get orbs in
photos and when you did it was a ‘wow!’, now with digital we just say
‘oh, another orb!’
If you have
anything to say about these subjects please leave your comments on our
forum.
Or if you
have a photo you would like us to look at please email it to us and we
will only be too pleased to look at them, the more information you
give us about the picture i.e. weather conditions, atmosphere (damp,
dry, dusty etc.) the better it will be for us to make an accurate
assessment.
